Liz Krulder Kumar, BCBA earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology through Fresno State's ABA program, and is currently a doctoral student in Sacramento State's Educational Leadership and Policy program. Her path into the field grew out of a fascination with organizations and systems-level behavior — particularly within education, from transitional kindergarten through graduate school. Liz started CalSABA to address gaps she saw across California's ABA student community: a lack of real cross-campus networking, limited collaboration between university programs, and a shortage of resources for online students, who often miss out on the built-in community of in-person cohorts. With online students now outnumbering their in-person peers statewide, Liz saw this as the moment to build a organization that connects ABA students no matter where or how they're studying.

Heather Cobb, Ed.D BCBA-D, did her Doctoral studies through the University of Florida. Within this program, her studies emphasized advocating for fair and equitable treatment for individuals with developmental disabilities that exhibit behavioral challenges. Through the University of Florida’s Doctor of Education program, Dr. Cobb’s dissertation work focused on the exploration of preparing individuals through comprehensive training, leadership, and fidelity monitoring systems in positive behavior intervention and supports. Dr. Cobb works as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst for California supporting individuals with I/DD. In this role Dr. Cobb oversees the operations of residential facilities throughout California. Dr. Cobb provides guidance and leadership to ensure the implementation of positive behavior supports for all individuals served and ensure proper and ethical treatment of the individuals served. Dr. Cobb provides behavioral consultation to residential service providers on residential programs and behavioral issues related to the unique characteristics and challenging behaviors of individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Outside of behavior analysis, Heather enjoys traveling, yoga, and coffee.

Daniel Mendoza, M.S., BCBA, LBA, IBA, has worked in applied behavior analysis since 2000, most recently as Associate Vice President of Clinical Services at Special Needs Network, Inc., a Los Angeles nonprofit serving families affected by autism in underserved communities. He is an adjunct professor at Niagara University and serves as Public Relations and Marketing Chair for the California Association for Behavior Analysis. He holds an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University and a B.A. in Psychology from CSU Northridge.

Dr. Oscar Silva serves as Faculty in the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (MSABA) program at National University and holds the role of Student Success Lead Faculty. In this role, Dr. Silva partners with students and instructors using culturally responsive, strengths-based, and collaborative approaches to design individualized learner support plans that foster meaningful engagement and positive academic outcomes. Dr. Silva is deeply committed to expanding access to Applied Behavior Analysis, supporting practitioner retention, and cultivating high-quality learning opportunities for individuals pursuing BACB certification. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, he provides ongoing coaching and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians and behavior practitioners in clinical settings. He brings over a decade of experience supporting learners across the neurodivergent community, with a strong emphasis on ethical, inclusive, and evidence-based practice. As Professor of Practice, Dr. Silva leads student cohorts preparing for BACB certification and has contributed extensively to curriculum development aligned with the Fifth Edition Task List (TL5) and Test Content Outline 6 (TCO6). He has also played a key role in revamping Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training to align with the most current certification standards. Dr. Silva earned his doctorate at National University, reflecting his ongoing dedication to advancing excellence, equity, and effectiveness in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
