Introducing CalSABA: California's Community for Behavior Analysis Students

Updated: Apr 3

Behavior analysis students in California have long lacked a dedicated statewide community. Individual university programs, student clubs, and professional organizations each play a role, but there has been no single space designed specifically for students navigating the path from academic training to professional practice.

CalSABA was created to fill that gap.

Understanding CALSABA's Mission

The California Student Association for Behavior Analysis is a statewide organization connecting behavior analysis students across California through community, professional development, and shared resources. Whether you are enrolled in an undergraduate program, completing your master's degree, or accumulating hours toward BCBA certification, CalSABA is built for you.

Our goal is straightforward: give California's behavior analysis students the network and support they need to succeed. That means:

  • Community. Connecting students across programs and universities so you are never navigating this path alone.

  • Professional Development. Providing access to events, resources, and opportunities that bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice.

  • Shared Resources. Building a centralized hub of tools, information, and support designed specifically for behavior analysis students in California.

We are just getting started, and we want you to be part of it from the beginning.
